Swellendam After-Party

Following the match, Headmaster du Preez and head of Sport, Mr. Grove (who had organised the day's event) hosted the Worth team to a dinner at the school with a theme of "Social Development." This included an exchange of gifts, notably a donation of 100 polo shirts from Worth (thankyou Sea-Air) for the Swellendam's sporting teams.

A truly remarkable day at Swellendam Secondary School for the boys of Worth. A warmer welcome could hardly have been expected. An historic occasion for both Swellendam Sec. and for the entire community, who had never had the opportunity to host a touring school before.
